Thumbs Up to Watsonville!

We are happy to report that 300 face shields were delivered to Watsonville Community Hospital today, as part of our Mask for Medical Workers project. The face shields are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified (PETG) by SandyAlexander for medical workers and first responders during the Coronavirus pandemic. We were able to acquired these supplies thanks to the generous donations of everyone who responded to our call to action. Special thanks to Shauna Eheler for volunteering and coordinating this donation.

IBCF is continuing to do our part in helping supply medical workers with PPE. The latest update is that we have acquired another 20,000 medical masks from China, which are on their way now. We will distribute this new batch to more local hospitals once they arrive.

Here is a nice video of the making of these face shields.
