This year has been marked by social unrest, political divisiveness, and economic disruptions, all against the backdrop of a global pandemic. Our lives are altered, perhaps irrevocably.

In fact, the 21st century has already thrown more than a few curve balls at us, with each dilemma seemingly more dire than the one before it. Change is coming at a breakneck pace, amplified by technology and social media.

How do we handle change in the 21st century from a Buddhism perspective?

Dr. Lewis Lancaster, Emeritus Professor of the Department of East Asian Languages at the University of California, Berkeley, will tackle this topic in a special talk organized by the Religious Graduate Council and the Religious Studies Department at University of the West.

Dr. Lancaster is also a member of our executive board. His guidance has been crucial to our work and we could not be more excited to attend this event, on Zoom, of course. Join us!
